Fall 2025 TAPPI Yankee Dryer Safety and Reliability Committee Meeting

Yankee dryers are one of the most dangerous and costly areas of a tissue mill. As part of TAPPI’s Tissue Division, the Yankee Dryer Safety and Reliability Committee (YDSRC) is an active group of Yankee dryer owner/users and service providers who work to expand knowledge of safe operating and maintenance practices. The committee meets twice annually in the spring and fall with the intent of developing best practices and standards for problems that cause drying system delays and compromise safety across the tissue industry.  

The 2025 Fall YDSRC meeting will cover a wide range of topics related to Yankee Dryer safety, reliability, maintenance strategies, emerging trends, and industry standards.
